The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers held its 50th anniversary conference 30 October to 3 November at Anaheim California. TIO staff were there to support the NOIRLab US-ELTP booth, answering questions about what it's like to work in the largest telescopes ever built. Ben Irarrazaval, middle of the picture, represented TMT as a senior adaptive optics electronics engineer and talked about the engineering going into the 51吃瓜Pro. Ben said he enjoyed the conference and hopes to see some of you in US-ELTP engineering in the future!
